1) Current year membership application completed and approved by Cheer 406.
2) Cheer 406 dues paid and current.
3) Active & verified membership to a qualified cheer team.
Qualified cheer teams include but are not limited to: recreational, club or “All Star” cheer teams, school affiliated cheer teams, and college cheer teams. Athletes must be active on their roster. Qualified cheer team association will be verified with current team’s coach.
All members, who are not part of a qualified cheer team may become members of the Cheer 406 team, separate Cheer 406 team application and dues apply. This is to help accommodate so if a member isn’t part of an official sideline or competition team because they didn’t make the team or maybe their school’s tryouts aren’t until fall it gives them a chance to still be a member to raise money to attend cheer camps, college prep clinics, etc.
Members can submit sponsorship request forms to have qualified purchases paid for utilizing that member's subaccount.
Qualified cheer purchases include but are not limited to: team warm ups, shoes, gear, camp or clinic fees, cheer gym membership fees, etc.
Purchases not qualified for sponsorship include but are not limited to: makeup (regardless if required for competition or not) water bottles, non-cheer athletic shoes, hotel rooms/ Airbnb.
A individual member’s balance will be maintained in a sub-account that is dedicated solely to that member’s funds. Members can only withdraw the total amount equal to the total in their sub-account. No sub-accounts will be allowed to have a negative balance.
Cheer 406 will withhold and retain 10% of all fundraised proceeds to pay for operating expenses.
